[C.A.P.B] 🥥 FROM COCONUT TO CREAMY FOAM

Have you ever received customer feedback like: “Your detergent cleans well, but my hands feel dry and itchy after washing”? That’s because LAS and SLES are powerful cleaners that can strip away natural oils from the skin.

Don’t worry, the solution is simple: Add CAPB (Cocamidopropyl Betaine) to your formula immediately.

1. WHAT IS CAPB? 🥥

Derived from natural coconut oil, CAPB is an amphoteric surfactant. It acts as a “diplomat” in your chemical mix:

  • Soothes the harshness: It wraps around LAS/SLES molecules, significantly reducing skin irritation.

  • Protects hands: Allows housewives to do laundry comfortably without worrying about peeling or dryness.

2. WHY DO PREMIUM DETERGENTS NEED CAPB? ✨

Beyond skin protection, CAPB possesses two “superpowers”:

  • Foam Stability: While SLES creates big bubbles that burst quickly, CAPB helps create a foam structure that is tiny, rich, and creamy (like shaving cream) and extremely long-lasting.

  • Thickening Support: When combined with salt (NaCl), CAPB helps the mixture thicken faster, saving on the amount of salt needed.

3. THE GOLDEN RATIO 🧪

Recommended usage: 3% – 5%.

  • Too little: No softening effect.

  • Too much: Can cause a slimy feel and make rinsing difficult.
